More people everyday are choosing to pursue a career in the healthcare industry.

One question many of them have is which healthcare careers make the most money for the least education?

Salaries for those that work in the healthcare field will vary depending on the field and specialty they choose to work in, the years of experience they have, the region of the country they work in, and their level of education.The following are average salaries that an individual can make when they choose a career in the health industry.

  • According to the American Medical Association, an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) can earn anywhere between $26,000.00 and $45,000.00 annually.
  • You could earn between $26,000.00 and $32,000.00 annually if you pursue a career as a Phlebotomist.

The positions listed, and many others, require some sort of educational background which means you’ll have to have some form of schooling in order to pursue a career in any one of these areas of healthcare. There is not a large financial investment, however, that is required in all of them.

More people than ever before are seeking to build a career in the healthcare industry. While the amount of money a person can make plays a big part in which career you choose, loving what you do is the most important thing. It takes a special person to work one-on-one with patients, but that doesn’t mean that other positions in the industry aren’t just as valuable.
